Radio Groovalizacion

Welcome to the Groovalizacion era! With this phrase concluded their articles already in 2005 DJ Cucurucho in the website musicasdelmundo.org when he talked on that kind of artists who look for in the deepest part of the tradition until achieving the roots and to convert it in propellers and to take their deep heritage until the clouds of the imagination. A lot of things have happened from that time, even unimaginable things (Spain won a World Cup!) but that idea is still alive in each brick and in each new partner who comes to this big house. He is one of the founding members of Groovalizacion and is in charge of the audiovisual section. Convinced that art and culture can raise social awareness, he has been coordinating various intercultural schemes since 2006, either as a film director, radio journalist, DJ or cultural manager of his project “Migratory Musics”. He has been involved in various activities in relation with music, immigration, identities, integration, etc. collaborating with several NGOs and associations in Argentina, Spain, Senegal, Morocco, Turkey, Portugal and Mali. DJ, radio producer, filmmaker, social activist... Cucurucho is a chameleon that change of colour of the skin but... not of skin! And that skin is called Groovalizacion. Welcome!
