...Hosted by Groovalizacion Radio, we are back in Sweeney’s Mongrel basement every Thursday. The event will have a different color every week and will include world music movies projection, live band and Dj’s..
For this first edition we have invited new Brazilian band Baque Soul. The band has recently been selected to open for Brazilian rapper Marcelo D2 upcoming gig in Dublin.
On stage, fronted by electric duo Ju and Bianca on vocals, Baque Soul plays their own Samba Funk/Soul compositions mixed with reworked cover versions of Brazilian classics and contemporary underground hits.
Following the band performance Dj Marina Diniz (brazil / Sao Paulo) will perform a set of Samba funk / Samba Rock
